Hello! For March, I’ve picked things to highlight that this is the month of my first wedding anniversary. Pink hydrangea washi tape, to give a nod to the hydrangeas and pink flowers used in the wedding decorations, accented with the green Mildliner. Keep reading for further details!
The quote I used on the month’s cover page is from our first dance song, “Rest of my Life” by Holley Maher. In a couple of weeks I’m going to be sharing some more details of my wedding and first anniversary celebration, but it’s already been very sentimental to me to have my journal set-up be themed around that day.
I really liked the adjustment I made last month with the size of the calendar and moving the monthly goals and to-do to this spread. It made me use this spread more frequently. This month you can see I’ve used stickers from my Create 365 sticker packs, which I really love to add in some basic pieces in a fun font. I am thinking that I will see what I use this year and possibly make my own stickers for future planners so they fit perfectly and can be in whatever font I want.
I am officially almost through two full months of filling in my tracker every single day, and I’m probably more proud of myself for that than I should be! I never figured out what to do with the blank page opposite the tracker during February, but as I was setting up for March, I had a breakthrough! I decided to move the expenses part of my tracker over to the opposite page and left some space for notes to help remind me what I purchased each day & why. I think this could help increase the self-accountability that I’m going for with my mindful money plan.
Finally, here’s a look at my typical weekly spread, infused with March’s theme. I’m still figuring out how to best use the bottom portion of these pages, since I don’t usually have many outstanding to-do’s that are week-bound, especially not enough to fill that whole space.
That’s all for this month’s set-up! If you want to check out my bullet journal supplies, check out my 2018 Bullet Journal Set-Up post!
