Wet n Wild Comfort Zone – One Week, One Palette #7

February 17-23 I used the Wet n Wild Color Icon 10-pan palette in Comfort Zone & the Physician’s Formula Matte Collection Quad Eyeshadow – Classic Nudes. I’d recently purchased the new formulation of the Wet n Wild palette (and the other new releases…I know…the low buy is going great *sarcasm*), and I was excited to try this out. I enjoyed the old Comfort Zone, but I was definitely missing some mattes.

I’m happy to say that the two matte additions that have been inserted to the new version are really great! They’re quite intense, so I needed something to blend them out with.

So – I pulled in the matte quad from Physician’s Formula to do that and to add in the basic matte cream and lighter transition shades I need to get started everyday. These quads are a great formula and contain very basic shades that will complement any palette that might be missing some basics you crave (or if you’ve panned the basics already).

I took as many photos as I could of my looks during this week. Please excuse the “snapping this while walking to my car because I’ve got to get to work” nature of them! I feel like these photos show just how wide of a variety of looks you can create from this 10-pan palette.

What’s your favorite palette from the drugstore? Do you have any drugstore palettes that out-perform your higher-end ones?
